Ordos Kangtailun Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Kangtailun Ranch") is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Knight Dairy Group Co., Ltd. Kangtailun Ranch began construction in early 2008 and has a multi-functional standardized cowshed that combines the strengths of various families. The ranch is equipped with a DeLaval 80 position heavy-duty rotary milking machine, which is currently the largest and most advanced milking machine in the western region, producing over 70 tons of fresh milk per day.
The fresh milk produced by the ranch is mainly sold to Mengniu and Yili while meeting the production needs of the dairy industry. It is a high-quality supplier to Mengniu and Yili. To ensure product quality from the source, Knight has designed and implemented a full industry chain development model including farms, ranches, sugar factories, and dairy processing and sales. By leasing locally transferred land, more than 10000 acres of forage planting bases have been gradually established for the pasture, mainly planting alfalfa, corn, silage corn, and oats as high-quality forage for cows. This not only solves the basic forage needs of dairy farming, reduces breeding costs, but also returns fermented cow manure to the field for harmless treatment of manure. At the same time, it supplements the farmland with abundant organic matter, which meets the requirements of national environmental protection and achieves a virtuous ecological cycle.
